Feasts and prayer: the spiritual life of the Home
As an organ of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, the Home conducts feasts and prayer for brethren at home and in the diaspora — in person and online.

Faith is woven into everyday life at Holy Mother Elizabeth Redeemed Children’s Home. As an organ of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star (BCS), the Home operates in accordance with the values, principles and directives of the organisation, and spiritual support is part of how every child is cared for.
Feasts for brethren, near and far
One of the services the Home offers is conducting feasts and prayer for brethren at home and in the diaspora. These are held physically at the Home and virtually, so that brethren who cannot travel to Calabar can still share in the occasion.
Growing in spirit
Alongside schooling and talent development, the children receive spiritual guidance and personal development. The aim, in the words of the Home’s mission, is to raise well-rounded children who lack nothing in life, surrounded with love and equal treatment.
If you would like the Home to conduct a feast or prayer on your behalf, please write to us through the contact page and the team will respond.
